What Does a Chamber Do?
The Lillooet & District Chamber of Commerce supports Lillooet businesses. As the largest business association in Lillooet, we represent over 100 businesses and their interests. We enable networking, training, discussions, and shared problem solving between Lillooet businesses. Our Chamber represents and promotes the business community, gets involved in community discussions and supports business initiatives. We encourage and assist new businesses to town, and support our existing businesses with their challenges.
In short, the Chamber is there to Advocate, Connect, and Collaborate.
Business Advocacy
District of Lillooet
The Lillooet Chamber advocates to District staff about issues of concern in Lillooet. Our members have an opportunity though the Chamber to raise issues directly affecting their business. Chamber staff will aim to collectively raise these issues to the District and find a solution. Our goal is to create a more business friendly environment.

Province of British Columbia
Being part of the Lillooet Chamber makes you also part of the BC Chamber of Commerce. The BC Chamber of Commerce directly works with the BC government on provincial issues. The Lillooet Chamber takes part in discussions, surveys, initiatives, and projects with the BC Chamber in order to inform provincial policy.

Regular Chamber Events

As a Chamber member you can receive extended healthcare insurance for your business and your staff. We have a dedicated insurance provider who is able to offer individually tailored benefits to each business. Chamber membership is required. The insurance covers benefits such as dental, physio, optometry, or critical illness insurance.
